Bishop Bobby R. Best, the 61st Bishop of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, passed Sunday night, August 2, 2020. Bishop Best presided over the Ninth Episcopal District. Funeral arrangements will be announced as soon as available.
Bishop Best was elected bishop in 2014 in Baltimore, Maryland, on the first ballot. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jacqueline Best, a son, Brandon; a daughter, Bridgette; and two grandchildren, Brandon J. Best, Jr., and Cameron J. Best.
